BROADCAST and STUDIO TECHNOLOGIES

This is an open course that would suit students who have an interest in music technology and/ or radio broadcast. It has scope to include writing and mixing music using DAWs such as Logic, FL Studio, SoundTrap and Abelton Live

• The course runs alongside the current Music programme – it will be taught within the same class.
• Students do not need to have any prior experience in music
• This course will not be eligible for course endorsement (unless an external standard is included into the course)

The course has flexibility to be centred around students interest.
Film, Radio, Music Studio.

​Where possible it will also have ties with the music students.eg: Med Studies 1.8 will involve interviewing classmates who have composed music and will be part of the NZ Music Month. This will be recorded and played on student radio.
