LEVEL 1

Music Studies encompasses the learning of conventions used in the creation of music. It looks at musical scores, listening and aural transcription, and musical theory. This is done in conjunction with composition. Students who do not choose to do AS91092 (Composition) will complete AS91095 (Set Works). As the whole course is taught holistically, all aspects of the Music Studies stream will be covered, but may not be assessed - depending on the course selected.
